Junior European Judo Cup, Ploiesti, Romania

John Jayne competed at -100 kg and won Bronze. He is now ranked 12th in the IJF World Junior Ranking List. He lost in the semi-final to Aaron Fara, the eventual Gold Medalist from Austria, who is currently ranked 4th in the IJF World Junior Ranking List. On September 17th Aaron went on to win the Junior European Championship at -100 kg in Málaga, Spain.
